sobriety is boring as shit but also very good and reading rocks

do you guys wanna do a read through of the hobbit i know that it is simple and plotting a month for it is dumb but we could split it into fourths and do one bit a week and it would be a cool distraction for me

I've never read the hobbit but I'm really into fantasy these days, so I'd be down

great way to get psyched for Fox Searchlight's TOLKIEN starring Nicholas Hoult (2019)!

i'm down for lotr

in celebration of that, a picture of my brothers and I in 2002 as frodo, legolas, and a ringwraith. my mom made all the costumes.

i was the ringwraith, i dunno why though, so stupid, most people just thought i was a demon or something

my brother roger's legolas was the best lol. he's still sorta embarrassed by these pictures

Lord of the Rings is so heavy and epic and takes itself more seriously.

been much longer since i've read lotr so i'd prefer that. also hobbit can be read in a day or two which makes it harder to do a staggered read of
