let's argue over what's the last legit great rock album

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your ass in

I think I listened to one of their songs in 2006?

I think Trail of Dead Source Tags for like operatic grandiose Meatloaf-style Rock Album underline album because each song is kind of fits a theme and are tied together.

Does anybody like Field Music? I liked their last few albums, though I’m not sure they rise to the level of “great rock albums.” I suppose I like quirkier rock rather than plodding stuff like Arcade Fire or The War on Drugs. Man, rock really was so much better in the ’90...it’s like rock was the default, so bands could just chill and make cool music. Now Haim-style pop/rock is the default, and rock bands have to emphasize the fact that they make Rock music, and it is shitty. That said, I’ve been in the mood for quality new rock music.

Come to think of it, I really loved the last Joggers album when it came out in 2005.

i don't think i really get this thread, like what is considered a straight up rock album vs otherwise, like that 2016 rostam & leithauser record was really good, is that a 'rock album' ? idk anyway here are three that i didn't see posted (although personally i like 'long slow dance' more than 'play it strange')

Which is why I subscribe to the "you know it when you hear it" philosophy

And again, to touch on Blackstar, it's a wonderful album, but I don't consider it rock and roll just like I don't think any of Scott Walker's late-period albums are rock and roll.

Can you bob your head up-and-down in a rapid “Yes” motion to the beat of the song?
