Ya know, I just don't really like design. Picture a toothbrush. Instead of the bristles being where they always are, imagine that they are off to the side. Where the bristles normally would be, there is just plastic. That is kinda what this trimmer is like. I just find it awkward. I guess it is ok for nose/ear trimming (there is a nose trimmer that comes with it) but I can't even vouch for the eyebrows as I won't even try it. With the awkward design and lack of instructions, I really don't want to take any chances (there is also an eyebrow attachment that is included but it is so strange, due to the awkward design). Also, I may have gotten a dud. It won't work for some reason when I first insert the battery in- I have to unhook the head trimmer first and then it will start to work. On the plus side, it is very gentle against the skin. Personally, I wouldn't buy again.

Isn't plucking more likely to give an infection or other complication, especially in the nose?

I think buzzing it is more likely to cause ingrown hairs than plucking. We need a study. If I could convince every border to pluck on the left and buzz on the right and we follow adverse events that would’ve a pretty good study.

We already concurred years ago that grip-and-rip is the way to go.

really cannot imagine trimming instead of yanking, and obsessing for extended periods of time about that one that you can feel but can't quite get a grip on

Just got done yanking the one hair that has begun growing out of my right ear.
Now to seize the day.

I've been going to a new barber and they've been aggressively pushing nose waxes on me every time. I still haven't been able to say yes.

the amazon reviews actually say it doesn't hurt too bad. a lot of people recommend the nads product instead however:
