They let the devs of crypt of the necrodancer use zelda & link in their next game, can't wait to hear the remixes of zelda music tbh

That track slaps lol, OK so it's a crypt sequel based in hyrule? Hard for a collab to rule more than this

Everything up until Bloodroots looks like something I would pay money for.

It's hard af on the last level but they got a funky mode character so anyone can beat it. Legit one of the best sound tracks of the past decade. Highly recommend it

so it's... beat-based? is it kind of like a fast, real-time strategy vibe to it?

Yea that's the gist of it, there's a character that doesn't use the beat conceit at all tho

I got it on ps+ for free a while back, it was fun I wouldn't be mad spending ~$10 on it. I haven't played owl boy but it seems like a more metroidvania take on it, more environmental puzzles than usual. Suffered from releasing between owl boy & Celeste when they're similar on paper. Pretty story focused toonfor the genre tbh.

just bought night in the woods, vaguely recall whips having positive things to say about it
also bought detention though it's not part of the nindies sale specifically. was curious about inside/limbo but i think those are more games i'd be fine watching than really having to play myself...
never played darkest dungeon or moonlighter and was wondering if they're worth it

really really did not like Moonlighter but I only gave it an hour
the shop running aspect is horribly tedious and it felt like Recettear did everything Moonlighter did but better

Cryptdancer game looks pretty interesting but quite bummed if the 2D Zelda rumor from a month ago is just that

If you play a lot of NES games on switch, the wireless controllers are such a big improvement over the joycons (and even the pro controller). They’re a total luxury but it’s great having an actual D-pad. I looked into the Hori D pad but I hardly ever play in handheld mode and it doesn’t work wirelessly.
Nintendo is too good at getting me to buy extra controllers. I will absolutely buy SNES controllers if they ever get around to actually putting those games on switch.

Shit... this actually looks awesome. First impressions seem pretty good too. Apparently the mini games are fairly deep. Even has a game creator mode!

the OG Labo kit is still sitting largely unconstructed and covered in dust somewhere in my house, so it's a tough sell. does look deeper than i expected i guess.
