It's a pause vertical suplex where I deliver a little monologue while I have them up
at the same time, when i first heard this song in the 4th grade, i couldn't stop thinking of death and the release of the human soul from the body....flying through the air and darkness!!!...

Please tell me your finisher is called the 'Northwest Passage', preceded by a setup manoeuvre called 'The Shipping News'.

I enter to northwest passage actually. The finisher is called the bluenose. Other named moves include the halifax hammer (gorilla press drop from a fireman's carry) and anchor drop (top rope elbow)

I remembered the Northwest Passage being your entrance music, hence hoping for the double whammy of naming the finisher that too, haha (I'm another Stan Rogers convert thanks to you btw).

Jake what's your wrestling name again? I was not aware you were from the maritimes, I haven't been to a show in a while but I feel like there's a pretty good chance we probably know some of the same people

The monologue varies and I don't always deliver it. I'm not Canadian, I just play a guy who is. I've got a few characters in PWR:

Dock Master: Stevedore, sailor, maritime mystic, champion of the working man. Currently holds the Necroweight Belt, A portal to the bone realm and avatar of the World Skull, which corrupts its owner, as he desperately searches for a way to destroy it.
Bench Horse: A horse who can bench press. Former member of The Stable w/ Gary the Goat until he modified Gary's Dreamcast to play pirated games and in the process made it impossible to play regular games on it.
Marcus Arugulus: One half of the Romaine Legion with Julius Caesar Salad, surviving Roman legionnaires who have lived for 2000 years because they follow a raw paleo diet and don't eat gluten. (Heels, obviously).
Hobo Jim: Not a hobo, just looks like one because he lives in his basement and only watches Naruto, but perennial enemy of train law enforcer Bull DeCroix who does not appreciate this point.

and then a bunch of one-offs

I've pretty much just wrestled with PWR but we've got a few people who do other promotions across Texas and elsewhere, notably Jojo Bravo / J Serious / Spryda and Luigi Primo.

Would have maybe swapped Lance Archer or Bad Luck Fale with Minoru Suzuki but otherwise some great blocks. Too bad Davey Boy Smith isn't with New Japan anymore, I feel he would do well in a G1.

No YOSHI-HASHI, Tama Tonga or Makabe. I don't think they'll be missen.

Definitely miss Suzuki. Sad that Moxley is in the B block away from the big matches, esp because it doesn't feel like he'll be sticking around to have Okada and Tanahashi matches?

Looks like Suzuki not being in could be an angle, as after his match he demanded to be put in and to have a match to qualify.

What do we think we get for the Dallas show? Do we think they'll do A+B block Day One? Maybe it's A Block Day One and then we get Suzuki vs Moxley for Moxley's spot in the tournament?

I am wondering this very thing and if I should go to the show a couple of days before I move to a different state lol. I assume Mox is gonna be there since ticket sales have been so poor.

So far, Dallas is these A Block matches:
Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
Kota Ibushi vs. KENTA
SANADA vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
EVIL vs. Bad Luck Fale
Will Ospreay vs. Lance Archer

It'd be rad to add something like:

Jon Moxley vs Minoru Suzuki (No Holds Barred?) for Moxley's G-1 spot + US Title
LIJ (Naito, Shingo & Bushi (or RUSH preferably)) vs. CHAOS (Goto, Ishii & Yano)
Ropungi 3K & Rocky Romero vs Bullet Club (White, El-P & Ishimori)
Taguchi Japan (Taguchi, Juice & Finlay) vs Suzuki-Gun (Tachi, El Desperado & Kanemaru)
Jeff Cobb, Nagata and Hanare vs Villain Enterprises

Interest level for Stomping Grounds: 0.0.

This is Cena vs R-Truth or Orton vs Mahal levels of apathy.

I'm at like a 3.4 - Ricochet vs Joe and what they do with the Women's titles interest me. A few undercard matches could be all right. But yeah, it's not great.

0.0 for the crapshow aside, overall is it morally reprehensible to give this company 99 cents for 3 months of NXT?

I don't think so? But I just stream everything, which works just as well.
