I was gifted a bottle of 1996 cantillon Iris when I left my job last month. I think it's the first batch and it's my favorite of their beers. I've never had lambic that's older than maybe 5 years, I'm so excited to drink it.

My buddy opened a set of all four Armand'4 seasonals from 3 Fonteinen during the Fourth of July and they were all absolutely incredible. If you wanna open up a thousand dollars worth of booze on a whim, I shall not protest.

Stillwater seems like a weird inclusion. Pretty much everything I've had from them in the last 2 years has been contract brewed at that facility in CT which is fine, and I enjoy their sHelfies especially classique but damn I don't think they deserve a place next to Suarez lol.
Happy to see allagash and Sierra alongside all the cool dude Brewers, allagash especially

I was surprised to see trillium on there of all of them somehow. Looks like the list is from 2017 though so I guess that makes more sense.

Sierra Nevada kinda always makes these lists because of how influential they were for IPAs and their sustainability in general. Their beers are good shelfies that deserve mention over the latest fads.

Speaking of Sierra Nevada, went to one of my local stores today and they had bottles of the 2006, 2008 and 2011 iterations of Bigfoot gathering dust. Been in a big boozy, malty beer phase recently, so interested to see how these have aged. Overall finding myself really uninspired lately with beer. Just got back from two weeks in England and had some lovely traditional ales on cask here and there, but nothing that really blew me away. Totally bored by the walls of hazy four packs that are greeting me around town every time I go in a shop.

Oh holy shit how much for the vintage bigfoots?
I used to have a vertical from 99-14 but I fell off the beer train basically in 2010 and would love to replenish it
They really shine at a decade plus, definitely grab at least one of each of the vintages if they're not ungodly expensive

I got into bourbon right as the dusty phenomenon was peaking but being able to buy old Bigfoot sixers 2000-2006 that had been kept at cellar temperature the entire time was a luxury I didn't appreciate
Three or four of those a night will up your weightclass quite quickly

I still drink IPAs way too often but I've been on a stout kick all year, which hasn't been optimal in the current weather.
Highland Park Brewery's new member bottle is a barrel aged Neapolitan stout. I'm really excited to try it but I only got two bottles so it's gonna be hard not to crack one open immediately. Their 504 collab with Horus was also really good, as was the MT Mega Devil's Teeth with cocoa, coconut, and macadamia.
Can't remember the last time I've had Bigfoot but now I want some.

Heard Reubens Crikey is real good too.
I liked the Fremont Centennial/Simcoe, though it was wildly bitter in a way I haven't experienced in a long time. Looking forward to the Citra/Amarillo.
