I'm wondering how much KK has focus grouped this film and that's why there's so much rethinking going on.
Also regarding Rose, is it going to be like the last film where they don't know what to do with her? Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie and the droids together all makes sense. I'm fine if they include Rose but she seems more like a support character who would be at the Rebel Base etc but not on the main mission.

i def do not need more rose
((Stuffed is loved by old and young because this is where the puddings get sent in. Criss-cross paving and those tinkly hanging bells make ((Stuffed a very homely access to Hades. Full marks.

yeah FWIW it seems as if the tide has shifted and now no-one believes a word of any of this... interested to see if the trailer (this week or next) corroborates anything.

Or perhaps all of the leaks are sourced from a first draft from two years ago that means nothing any more

I want Rose to be the one to kill Palpatine if only because she has been the target of the very specific white supremacist anger the franchise has been dealing with.

Up to this point, MSW has pretty much co-signed the leaks from the Reddit guy and is now doubling-down on Twitter, so I'd wager that if they're fake, that means Disney is actively leaking disinfo.
That said, YouTube Instant Trailer Reaction culture sucks and I won't be too sad if Ward ends up looking foolish in the end. Especially if the result is something better than what's been described so far.

Many have tried. Many have failed.
But I think marta might just be the one who turns this thread around.

There’s a telling difference between the fans who insist on watching all 9 movies in chronological order versus release order.

I’m guessing the chronological order ones are all fine with the special editions

The ones I really don't understand are the ones who are like, 4-5-1-2-3-6 or whatever.

Thanks to Blank Check I ironically enjoy the prequels (and may genuinely enjoy them)

yeah imagine thinking you should show someone Solo or Rogue One before Star Wars
brain worms
release order, skip the prequels. that's it. play some of the prequel levels of Battlefront or like KotOR if you need some old jedi shit

it's also pretentious in that you assume the watcher will be invested enough to see all 20+ hours of film
like I love Neil Young but I am not gonna tell someone they need to listen to 20 of his albums, in a very early 20s music snob male way, I'm gonna pick the best 3 and see if they wanna keep going from there
My listening experience in balanced mode reveals the great depth of EARTH

i watched them on the initial blu ray box set released in 2011 but not since.
i did however watch the Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon last week and they hold up better than the Lucasfilm version.
