It feels so much better without a cover and I bought apple care so any serious damage is covered (cracked screen is $29 deductible). And if I do accidentally scratch the phone, then I'll buy a cover or dbrand skin to hide the scratch.

no i actually have been going commando with my current iphone 8 and i just feel like i should get a case because it's the responsible thing to do but not sure why. it's a company phone and they pay for one cracked screen.

i guess i am more worried about scratching the lenses anyways, if that is even a thing?

I generally have lived without a case for my phones since the 5S and generally don't have many problems. AppleCare+ is a big help though. Just getting through TSA is where it gets tricky since the plastic bins always scratch something but never enough to make it unusable.

i have been rockin tempered glass front and back protectors since i got my first X when they came out late 2017.

i go thru maybe 2-3 a year and theyre very cheap and when i replace them the phones look and feel band new and its the best.

god i’m doing the thing where lady wop needs her pics backed up from her iphone 7 because she ran out of space and still wants to save her favorites and every time i have to do this i get so fucking angry with the 1000 separate folders that’s are random and then having to hide her favorites to keep them on her phone for her but never knowing what the fuck will happen

dropping $1300 or whatever on the 11 will be a godsend for the huge HD

and i do back up everything to the cloud but this is something she asks me to do “just in case” and yeah

just realized that the airpods pro are significantly shorter. apple are great at really making people see who is 'rich' and who is 'poor.' my friend's 14 year daughter was talking about how she wants an iphone 10 because everyone can see that notch and kids who don't have that notch are made fun of in school.

Would not be surprised if the Airpods Pro are significantly better than anything else in the category.

Nobody else seems remotely close to Apple's level when it comes to the engineering prowess needed to get true wireless headphones right. Just look at how big and clunky the alternatives are. The problem with the Airpods IMO is that unsealed earbuds are worth approximately $10 to me and the wireless part is not worth $150 on its own. $250 ain't cheap but the value proposition is totally different if they actually sound good and isolate.
