It's really insane that somehow this place still manages to exist where it does

Shamrock is fine (and they have a pool table and free popcorn) but it gets loud and crowded pretty much immediately after work hours

I’m planning on moving back when my lease is up down here the end of March. Already got a job lined up, but living situation is kind of a mess. Was gonna move into a friends place but then they remembered their allergic to cats so now I’m debating on just trying to find a new place or figure out something to do with my cat because...well I love my cat.

This is certainly a mental drivel shitpost but if you or someone you know is perhaps looking for a roommate or something in March/April....

Dude there's a place opening up in my building.

3 flat, no lease, landlord is a cool dude who plays in Bitchin' Bajas.
It's a one bedroom apt to yrself, no rommmates. I think it's like $750 or $800 or something super cheap, can't quite remember exactly. Anyway it's in Pilsen at 18th and Damen, right on the edge of the park. Hit me up if yr interested and I'll pass it along

Peace!

yeah I'm hoping this whole process normalizes at some point this year because the actual experience of buying there is so pleasant
it seems it's slowly chilling out in regards to the imbalance in supply vs demand

it should be illegal to operate an establishment called HI-VIBE that doesn't sell marijuana in a state with legalized marijuana imho

i know valentine's day dinners are probably the worst time to try to do this, but even we end up doing it on another night, what would be some good places to have a nice dinner w an SO? We live in Bridgeport area but have a car

i'm just gonna recommend al-bawadi again just because its my favorite restaurant and i want to shout about it from the rooftops to anyone who'll listen. might not be too crowded b/c its not a typical v-day kind of restaurant (though its always fairly busy no matter when you go).

polo on morgan is doing their valentine's day dinner again. I went with my wife a few years ago and it was one of our favorite valentines day dinners ever.

Last year I went with my old roommate for their birthday/a delayed personal bday treat for myself and she didn't want to eat the tart so I got to eat both.

It's heaven.
