Has anyone tried the COSRX birch sap lotion? I already use the intensive hyaluronic acid cream at night but I prefer something lighter when I'm going to put an SPF on top (I also use the COSRX 50 SPF which I find is a very good cheap option). Currently I use a moisturiser from The Ordinary in the morning but it's almost run out and if I can go all COSRX my shelf in the cabinet will look pleasingly matchy.

I’m flaaaaaking (a temporary side effect of tret, it looks like I’m recovering from a sunburn). I literally never thought it would happen to me!!! Whatever I’m
In love with tret I don’t care.

Update: the birch sap lotion smells amazing! I feel it's not quite as lightweight as I expected but once it's had a minute my skin does slurp it up and I can put my SPF on without feeling like I'm just smearing them together.

I've been experimenting with washing my face every other day, since it's winter and I get dry skin, and this seems to work? I'm finally old enough that I don't really get acne anymore so luckily that's not an issue.

Is this dumb? I have no idea what I'm doing. Just want to glow

if you have dry skin i would def recommend exfoliating in some way to get rid of all that dry skin and moisturizing before bed (at the very least)

i think i’m going to have to pare down my ridiculous regimen to just rosehip oil and aloe vera, maybe an individualized retinol and vitamin c serum but the rosehip oil actually takes care of vit a and c. idk like i mentioned upthread after doing this for awhile i feel like the key thing for me is just trying my face from getting too puffy and dry with allergies and shit so frequent face massages and exfoliation and ice keeps my skin looking alive and good just as much as anything topical

I’m on a skincare break right now. Since I’m shacked up with the bf and his bathroom is small, I’m down to just face wash, moisturizer and sunscreen - no masks, no serums, nothing extra. Brave new world over here.

I’ve picked the wrong time to turn 39.

My skin is enjoying lockdown because it's not being bombarded with sun/traffic fumes/gross diesel-and-dust Tube wind. At least I save money on SPF.
