I put this in a mixtape for a girl I had a crush on in high school

actually wish I still had that cd, probably every song should be in this thread

it's probably not too late to ask for it back

I like that everyone is add an asterix into stellastarr*

That's the kind of respect they deserve

There are 3,4 bangers on that first album but it's all definitely from a time and place.

Encountered this one today and was surprised it sounded so familiar. I'm sure I haven't thought of it in ten years.

M83 and Okkervil River feel not forgotten, even if neither have put out anything worth getting excited about for a decade or so.

one of the last 2-3 okkervil river albums from a few years back was good but the fact that i can't remember anything about it proves your point i guess

Not wiling to look through this thread but I did enjoy Times New Viking for what they were, even though I witnessed them arguing before a gig.

I had a good time seeing them at a festival in 2003 or so in an early afternoon slot... Ideal placement for these types of bands that are the musical equivalent of a 500ml can of room temperature carlsberg.. Kinda shitty but good enough to slug it down and get you through to the next, better thing
